Re: El Capatain riders??

When you buy salt away its a concentrate and usually comes with a small attachment for your hose so it mixes in with the water while your flushing, it just helps to break down/ dissolve the salt out the engine, it is also supposed to leave a film on your cooling passages for preventing future corrosion, you can also use it to rinse off your ski, vehicle and wet suites ect. I personally use salt terminator, its a little bit cheaper but seems to be the same thing. Some people say just plain old water is fine, But hey it helps me sleep better a night, Im on my second ski now, but I rode my first ski only in salt, and it had no corrosion what so ever, and I always used saltaway or salt terminator. I also recommend Boeshield T-9 to Its like WD-40 but doesnt break down, or dry rot your rubber hoses, Boeing designed it as a Corrosion inhibitor for aircraft, but it works so well on boats you can find it at westmarine ect, Some sears also sell it to spray on tools to prevent them from rusting. In fact I would give the credit to the T9 for my salt water skis staying in the condition they have with 100% salt water riding.
