Re: Body Found

Yeah I ride over there pretty often. The back side of canyon lake is pretty rural and wouldn't doubt you'd find a body out there ever once in a while. Great secret area to ride the stand ups for free rides, but you need a truck with some ground clearance and good tires to get there. Just so you know it is illegal to ride though, but you'll get left alone if you keep a low profile and respect the users of the lake. Also it smells pretty bad and wear booties because there are leaches sharp rocks and shallow water. Recommended for diehard freestyle riders and tuning my 550 w/ 650 swapps.

I got a few skis. I has a square nose superjet white w/ yellow handle pole. 91 rear exhaust 650sx white w/ blue handle pole. and a old school 440 with a 650 engine in it. white with retro pin stripes. Towing with a 07 silver tacoma. I'm out there on a tuesday or thursday.

pics describe a million words. You drive out there all the way from Bellflower? That takes some dedication.

Re: Body Found

How's weekends there? I figured it's pretty busy and the wakeboard boats get pretty pissed off about the chop. I have a hard time getting out there since the truck isn't mine. So i've been at the ocean lately, but only live about 10 miles from the lake.

It gets pretty busy there sometimes on the weekend and the police boat is always watchin so you cant go past where your not supposed to be. i went out on fourth of july weekend and couldnt even back my truck into the water to get my ski out cuz there was so many people with their stuff in my way probably like 15 skis out that day, but i had like 5 of my buddies with me to help me carry it. now ive got a better spot to park where nobody goes and i can back my truck way in the water and not have to worry about getting stuck.

theres only a small area that you can ride so i dont know if its worth it for a couch. its a pretty rough trail but people can make it back there with trailers.
