Winter

This forum has just about died. Has everyone gone into hibernation for the winter, not to return until spring? Is no-one else besides dan and dayton riding this winter? The Yamaha's aren't allergic to cold water are they?

Re: Winter

I'm still riding, but not as much. Speaking of which I really need to get my hand and tray warmers hooked back up.

Re: Winter

Four skis??!! Really??!! Sounds like I need to get on the ball ! ! Too much riding and not enough time to work on spares. Not having a lit garage is a bit of a bummer, also. Just need to make do. Congrats to all the Northwest Freeride team members on getting the best deal in the land on Jetpilot gear. I look forward to seeing you all in new digs in the spring.

Re: Winter

I've been hitting the Columbia about every Sunday except last Sunday with offline friends. The Portland guys are either at the beach (Tim, etc) or broken ski (Kevin). Haven't heard from Adam in the Northwest forum since surf slam.

Sunday is looking promising with a high of 56, partly cloudy and 5MPH wind. Weeks ago we went out during 15 MPH winds that lined up with the river and it was unpleasant. The river just dropped to 56 yesterday so it's still reasonable.

I could ride with my old buddy SuperPro.

I don't plan to do the winter riding again this year like the winter of 2007-2008.

Re: Winter

it was fun? all the skis ran VERY good?

Learned to let off the throttle when you get a tad out of control or you will do a 1/2 backflip with masons ski...hahahaha
