Surf Ride Thu 22nd

16.5ft 15secs 1mph Swell Components16.7ft15secs16.4ft15secs3.1ft15secsBreaking Wave Estimate22.5ftTriple Overhead

Anyone looking to ride surf this week. It looks like Thursday may be the day. The reports are calling for 16 feet with a 15 second pulse with light wind. That should produce a pretty solid swell, at least 8 feet from the back. I am always looking for good spots the ride, any locale knowledge is appreciated. I will probably look at the cliffs in Manzanita or head out at Pacific City. Manzanita is an unreal wave and easy to launch. The swim is long and the rip can be tough when you loose your ski. It would be nice to find some other riders to head out with. Any one want to ride or has any spots that can handle some size always game to check them out. Mahalo!

Re: Surf Ride Thu 22nd

Yesterday was to crazy. The surf was out of control. I couldn't find a spot to launch were I thought I could get back home in one piece. Watched the tow contest instead at Nelscot Reef.

Never launch at Salomon river. Sounds fun. Would need some details. Saturday should work for me.

If you guys think this is a good spot for Sat I'm in. It would be good maybe if you could give me a call. Just so I know I am headed to the right spot and arrive close to the same time. (808)728-5943
