Holiday rides

Okay, guys. here is what I plan on doing for the holidays. I think an early morning x-mas ride on Lk Sammamish. Say, be at the launch around 8 am. I prefer riding early, that way, people see us out there while they are opening their presents. Just a leisurely lap around the lake.

As for New Year's, I think I will go for a lap around mercer Island. There is a launch directly under I-90 on the east side of the island. I will get some better directions for everyone. The lap is a smidge longer than one of Lk Sammamish. Any ski can make it. I am open to suggestions as to a time, but I am thinking meet at 12:30. Plenty of time to recover from the previous night's festivities.

See you all there.

Re: Holiday rides

Hey guys. Just an update. X-mas morning at the Lk Sammamish launch at 8:00am. Weather is nowhere near as cold as when this was first posted. Yesterday was a joy to be on the water, 56 and calm. Bring your holiday cheer, costume, whatever.

New Year's day - Mercer Island tour. Meet at the launch under I-90 at 12:30 for a pleasant ride around Mercer Island. Nick will be there shooting video for the new nwfreeride.com website. There are a couple beaches that we can stop at. I believe he will be shooting from those as well. This is just the first ride of the year, so come on out. Start the year off right. See you all there! ! !
