The real choice: Rent house in Pacific City, ride like mad.

would you be in for a cabin or campsite?

Also....CRESENT BAR ....central location...nice beach...im thinking we got a winner

we would bring our wakeboard boat for some sweet freestyle waves.

Re: Bachelor Pary Ski Weekend

I was going to ask if you knew what you are doing on the other post, but I didn't want to start controversy.. You must have a keeper.. haha She rides.. Thats all that matters.. haha

I could possibly be in for something of the sort depending on when and where it is.. I am with you too Mike, I am not a salt person either and I live 20 min from it....

Re: Bachelor Pary Ski Weekend

With the depressing thread titles like "Winter" I had been thinking about starting a Cresent bar thread to plan for next year. There was previously some discussion about how the locals at Scooteney weren't happy with our "wild bunch" invading their turf last June and how Cresent bar is more party friendly.

In May the water is under 60 degress. Average air temp highs go from 68 at the start of May to 75 at the end. Lows are upper 40's to 50.

There is a campground that takes reservations:
http://www.crescentbarresort.com/1Campground.tmpl
We discussed how there are full hook ups so your women can use an electric blanket.

I just browsed for condo rentals. A couple down the Google search for "crescent bar rentals" has a place that will do a three day weekend:
http://www.crescentbarresorts.com/cr...ties/index.htm
They look like very nice places but it's $200+ a night. Get a few folks together and that divides down a bit.

The first couple Google links are for a place called "Select Rentals" which only does weekly rentals.

Sunbanks resort is a little more out of the way but looks nice and the rentals are more reasonable.

Hopefully the economy picks up next year so we could do a couple big group Cresent bar type trips and a couple big beach trips.
