anyone has has rode up on flaming gorge utah/wy.

I want to go up there next late july.

couple questions if you have been there and have time to answer please.

1- where is the best place to launch, closest to the horseshoe area? and where do you suggest staying, motel wise, not camping. how many marinas are on teh gorge.

2- is the dam a spillway type or more of a hoover dam type?? where it sticks way above the water line.

3- any pointers, tips or do and dont's appreciated!

yes I have did some searches on google but things seem to be in mix, different stories,etc.. so asking people who would know! thanks for your time
