| Re: Moving to orlando where to ride? I assume you are a stand up rider based on your name. Some of the more popular places (lakes) to ride would be Lake Ivanhoe and Moss Park.
Lake Ivanhoe is a lake which stradles I-4 on the north side of Orlando. It is a fairly good sized lake. Watercraft and occasionally boats are on this lake, but it is never too crowded.
Moss Park is a much bigger lake. As the name suggests, it is a large park located SE of Orlando off the 417 (Greenway). It's only a buck or two to get in, has a small beach to bring your ski up on. The lake is really big so once you get off the beach area it is not crowded.
There are other lakes that are common, but not as nice. Lake Underhill is east of Orlando off the 408, but there is construction going on and I have always run into some reckless riders there, so I now avoid that lake. Nothing like 10 year olds running around the lake, by themselves, on an 850 pound RXT 3 seater! Some scary crap!!! |
