Matanza's inlet surf zone riding Fri 22 Jun

A few of us from Orlando Watercraft Riders are heading to Matanza's inlet for some surf zone riding on friday. That inlet is south of St Augustine, we'll be leaving from Bing's landing off A1A at about 11am and riding the inlet for 2 to 3 hours. Nice thing about going there on weekdays is you don't have to fight for the waves since there's so few people out. Hopefully there will be some decent waves, all are welcome to join us.

I think I have going to have to write Matanzas off my list for spots. That sand is ridiculous to drag two skis on a trailer through. If I was bringing just my RX and a single trailer I would try it but even with my truck its tough (4x4 F250 on 35's). My buddy's Z71 gets stuck every time. My other friends Tahoe 4x4 almost got stuck also. If its low tide its ok but we always seem to either get there at high tide or leave at high tide and you have to drive through the thick sugar sand. We've been going to Hugenot.

You don't have to put in on the beach, a few miles south of the bridge is a park called Bing's landing, that's where we put in at, then ride up the intracoastal a few miles to get back up to the inlet.

I was wondering if any of them came out at all or not. Hope you can piece some of the footage together.

LOL...ya they came out,but lets say we need a little work on the production side. The marine case worked out great and the sound took as well.Need to get closer to the rider and keep checking the water droplets on the lens. But besides that not to bad for first day with the marine camera. The camera will go to 132 feet depth. We'll try some torpedo shots next time.
