Matanza's Inlet Questions

Hey all,
I am looking for a little information about Matanza's Inlet just N. or Palm Coast FL. I am taking the boat down there this weekend and was going to do some cruzing with the family and wanted to anchor up at Matanza's for a little bit.
Is Bing's Landing the closest launch site? Is the easiest way to get to Matanza;s going N. up the intracoastal and going around Fort Matanza's or is there any short cuts along the way? I know there is a waterway that goes up under A1A but wasn't sure how navagible it is. I think it is about 2 miles N. or Bings.
Any good places to go for food on the water there?

Hopefully next time I can bring boat and ski.. (need to strap a hitch onto the wifes van...)
Thanks for the info!
