looking for a good machine shop near daytona

im looking for a machine shop near daytona that can bore my 550 cyliners for a good price. can anyone help me find a good place? im in dayotna right now, but im willing to drive to orlando and other places if i have too. nothing too far though. thanks.

Do you need them quickly (are you willing to ship them?)

You can try calling Daytona Fun Machines and see if they can give you a recommendation.

there is no rush. im just trying to find a place to have it done. im from NJ and im down in daytona for school. i have a guy in NJ who i usually go to who does it for 25 bucks a cylinder. if i can find someone to do them down here for around the same price that would be awesome. then i wont have to pay for shipping. if i find a place down here that charges too much, id rather spend that money to ship it to a guy who i know will do a good job...hope that makes sense. its an odd situation. thanks

If you've got someone you trust that will do it for $25, I'd go ahead and ship it. You won't find anyone there that will do it that cheap. $35-60 is the going rate, and most are around $50/bore.
