Live In Tampa: Any Awesome Spots Near Orlando That's Worth Drive?

We are very lucky to have some of the best skiing in the world on this coast but we don't want to burn it out. Any ideas?

Re: Live In Tampa: Any Awesome Spots Near Orlando That's Worth Drive?

Have been to Tampa/St. Pete area to jet ski numerous times, the experience in the west coast is better than in Orlando area. The best I can recommend is taking a ride on the St. John's river from Ed. Stone Park to Silver Glenn Springs (Lake Geoge, 54 miles round trip). This provide you with a nice nature spring that I didn't find in St. Pete (intercoastal and ocean).

I am actually looking forward to going back to St. Pete in the near future.
