Re: lake riding

Lake fairview is bigger better and more parking. S.E Corner of Lee rd. and State rd 441

Exit I-4 at Lee rd. go west on Lee until you get to Edgewater drive light. Go straight
ahead approx 1/2 mile LEFT entrance to Baseball field is also way to boat ramp.
Straight back and to the right. Low ramp easy, big water for a fun time - no weeds !

Look for POWDER KEG 08 VX110 deluxe

If you are worried about gators why do you even ride in FL? Even the retention pond behind my house has a gator in it!!! Don't worry about the gators ,
Also i would rather deal with no wake zones than go around in circles all day!!!! there not that bad once you get north of blue springs.

Re: lake riding

Not trying to upset you Jake just saying there is a limited amount of riding you can do on any lake here in FL. Not really lakes just big ponds. Also there are manatee in lake monroe as well.

Re: lake riding

I have been up the st. johns in our 18 foot bow rider from Sanford 17-92 ramp and it was a pain in the AZZ.. Cops were all over. Ticketing people, you name it. I'm not ready again for that kind of fun. I'll take the ponds over that any day...

Is there a place further up the river to put in that eliminates this and let you go out in more
Andy and Barney free water ????

If so let me know I'll give it a shot... I'm just not ready for the TARZAN thing with the Gators.

Just kidding ! Don't get your pencil sharpened yet....

Re: lake riding

if you put in on state rd 44 gets you past most of the no wake zones and that takes you up to silver glen. This past weekend we went south, put in at mullett lake park only one no wake no (short) and only one section of speed limit. There is also a great rope swing out that way just before the power lines. Did not see any live gators on the main river but did see alot when we went down some of the small canals.
