Kissimme River ride 11-02

On Nov 2nd three of us rode the Kissimee River from highway 70 North to the barricades in the old river. I liked the old river runs the most and if I was doing it again I would not put in at 70. There is a nice ramp on the North side of Highway 66 about 10 miles East of US 27 (and also East of Lorida). If you are trying to find it on Google Earth or Google Maps go to Lorida Fl and you'll find it immediately upriver from the second water control structure you encounter if you had put in at 70. Our water level was 36.00 on Nov. 2nd at Lorida and the link below should help you determine the current water level.

Nice ride.
