So far on the list is myself, YoYamma, possibly jpack.

I had a blast out there last weekend, lots of skis on the lake in the early afternoon. I launch from the public launch off of West st. just north of 50. Ill be out there around 10am.

Re: Clermont Chain of Lakes March 3rd

Well I just checked out the forecast & the one I looked at said 68* both sat & sun. Sat had a 40% chance of rain sun showed sunny. Dont have a plan for either day as of yet. I do have a spring suit so the 68* is not the end of the world. Dryad001 I will check back on Friday night to see what the plans are... I am about to enter the time of the year where everybody & their brother comes down from the Great white north to visit, so getting out to ride will either be difficult at times or a great escape to get away from inlaws. So if it's half way decent this weekend I'd like to get out before that starts...

Hey hey hey, watch it with the great white north comments, lol. Im a transplant from WI. If the weather doesn't work out you can most likely find me sitting in the tiki bar. My female roommate might come along if I can persuade her to get on the back. She has a problem with open air machines....she started crying on the bike going 5 mph in a parking lot.

I am pretty sure MikeB and I will be there around 11 ish. Weather sucks, but if it was good, I would be riding with the family.

Re: Clermont Chain of Lakes March 3rd

Kerry and Mike B nice meeting you guys and riding today. We will have to repeat this ride when the weather is better. A little too rough at the end, getting skis on the trailers was a PIA. Thanks , Mike for showing us around the Clermont Chain of Lakes. I liked that bar on the lake, will be a good stop in the Summer.

A nice ride despite weather.

Re: Clermont Chain of Lakes March 3rd

Sorry I missed you guys today. Had stuff to take care of around the house & figured it was better to waste a crap day on it than a nice one. I was also trying to work a deal to trade my LX in on a 250X but could not come to terms. Let me know what you guys are up to next week. I'm interested in hitting the St. johns or the Harris chain or meet you back out here in Clermont.

Re: Clermont Chain of Lakes March 3rd

That bar stop is what got us WET. I didn't know rain drops hurt so much when going 30 mph +, but I guess it didn't bother Jim as he just rode right through it.
