Re: April 28th, Ponce Inlet

Damn man I'd be right there but I'm working the Leesburg Bike Fest up here where I live to make some extra cash over the weekend. Last monday my girlfriend and I put in at Fort Island on the Gulf Coast and it was a great day. Jumped some knarly barge wakes. Where the hell is the boat ramp at Ponce Inlet? I've been trying to find a good place to put in over near New Smyrna or Ponce. My buddy has a house in Orange park... not far from Ponce. Might hit that up some other time when I get a chance.

what time does everyone plan on getting there? i love to ride at Ponce, but I like riding late afternoon after most of the boaters have called it a day.

The boat ramp is right by the lighthouse. There are others within a few miles, but that is the main one.

We'll be getting there early in the morning, but will probably be there into the late afternoon depending on how many people show. It's always good to sit around in between wave jumping to relax a bit.

I assume you mean Port Orange, not Orange Park which is by Jax? From Port Orange, take the Dunlawton bridge over the river to S Atlantic Ave, go south until you get to the state park and turn right. this will lead you right to the public ramp
