Anyone in Jacksonville?

I live in Hilliard which is about 30 min north of jax but I am willing to drive to jax on the weekends to ride. I also go to Lake Sante Fe once a month or so. I just don't know anyone to ride with. I have a 2007 Seadoo RXP 215 and a 96 seadoo XP (whenever the mechanic fixes it).

Thrift,

There is an AWA club in St Augustine, so they may be a good place to look for some local riders as well. Go to awahq.com and their contact info is there.

Re: Anyone in Jacksonville?

Thrift,

What kind of riding do you like to do. My brothers and I frequent the jetties for wave jumping and riding throught the intercoastal area. Last Sunday we road your back door in the St Marys from Traiders Hill past Scott's landing areas. That was the first time for us there, but we did it because we have access to private property on the river to camp at. We were thinking about a ride from Deltona thru Blue Springs and back up the st Johns via Palatka stopping at Julington creek marina, interested?

We ride for fun, many times taking the kids along, as I did Sunday on the St Marys, I had my 3 yr old riding with me. Other times we like to sandbar hope at the jetties. We have 8 ski's running between us. All the work we do ourselves, infact some times work for others. I have a superjet in our shop now from a guy in Orlando.

So you can see, we are into riding. most of our ski's are vintage Kaw's.
5 running XIR's, 1 ST, 1 ssxi, and one brother has a old ball yam xl800. But he is trying to sell it now.

well, that about does it for me, if interested tell me a little about you.

Re: Anyone in Jacksonville?

I almost headed to the St Mary's on Sunday, which is where I normally ride when I can find someone to ride with. I have been wanting to go to the jetties to do some wave jumping but with my other ski not currently running and I didn't want to go by myself. Where do you put in when you go to the jetties? I have never been on a long ride like the one you are talking about, where would you start off?

Re: Anyone in Jacksonville?

When we go to the Jetties, we normally drop at Alimacani, or what used to be. It is under the bridge on the south end that you see from hug a nut park. It is nice because of the sandbars under the bridge gives nice shade. The big ride I am thinking about putting together would put in where I-4 comes out of Deltona toward orlando. That is one of the main feeders of the st johns river. right now, it is a dream ride. I would really like a ride at salt springs or something before summer is over this year. where is this lake sante fe. by the way, my brothers user id is "scaryair".

Re: Anyone in Jacksonville?

It's down near Gainesville. I just read a few articles about lake Santa Fe, it's the 3rd largest lake in FL, the 3rd most stable, and one of the clearest.
