Exile(Hendrik Lloyd) Clover Hill Race As you know, Round Four of the S.A. Jet Ski Championship will be held at Clover Hill, Bronkhorstspruit Dam on Saturday 17th February. We would like to get this event off to a cracking start with riders briefing at 7.30am or even 7.00am if possible in order to complete three heats of each class as well as the enduro so please do not procrastinate. We would appreciate if riders could arrive early in order to register prior to riders briefing. Catering facilities and ablution blocks are available at the Club House, and Prize-Giving will take place there after the race. Riders are not to frequent the bar until after their events! No dogs allowed at the Club House. As the dam is now at its full capacity, you will be advised where best to park your skis whilst in the water, between races. There are three slip-ways available, east, west and central. Please do not all try launch at the same time on the same slipway or leave your trailer in the way or dilly-dally. There is designated trailer parking. We plan to set out the course on Thursday afternoon to let it settle. Please do not try and test drive it out before, it will be explained at riders briefing. Please try to avoid hitting or puncturing buoys belonging to SAJSBA while on the water, we have already lost one new buoy during the last race. Should you have a protest, complaint or suggestion, please fill in a form available at the lap scorers table. We appreciate your comments and ideas put forward in writing can always help us in future events. Scuttlebutt is not helpful for the sport. We are trying to work together to the best of our ability. After the Enduro, it would be appreciated if riders could assist by bringing in buoys. This would speed up the process and enable us to start prize-giving earlier. The event will be filmed by Rat Race Media. Many thanks to Doug Thompson for organizing the sponsorship of buoys, the starting gates and a new middle gate. Also thanks to Justin Windsor for organizing a two minute board for the start. We look forward to seeing you this weekend and to a successful, eminent day of racing.
