New lady here

Thanks for our little place in the sun here at pwctoday. I have been browsing your forum for awhile and have never joined.

I am new to the jetski world and ride with my husband. I am hooked on stand up’s, and we currently have a superjet 2005 model, with 2 x kawa SX-800R on the way (one his race ski, one mine J )

We have been attending as many local races as possible to get an idea of the various classes etc. I am keen to start racing when I feel confident enough.

Could someone please explain the various classes around in the stand ups, and where the ladies fit in, as I saw them clumped with the guys (sure because there aren’t enough no’s ? ) as well as where I will be able to race with various mods that will obviously be on the draw card for my ski (hubby cant leave anything alone J )

And any other tips and hints to getting started.

Hope to eventually see you guys and fellow ladies in Havusa one day!

Racerchick
