Winter project... boat

Well, I was given this boat for free with the trailer. The trailer and hull are in really good shape. The plan is to put the jet drive and engine from a Seadoo in it and make a jet boat. The engine I will be using is the 80 HP 657X. Should be a fun little boat.

Here are pictures from this morning. The ski in the boat is my donor for the pump tunnel, pump and engine.

Re: Winter project... boat

YESSSS!!!!!!!! I go pick up my 16' flat bottom in a cpl of weeks, this is exactly my plan! Using a kawi hull bottom most likely for mine, trying to get a 750 sts, so i can have ez reverse. 650 engine, unless i find a 750 for the right price. (750 sts motor heading into wifey's sc)

Cant wait to see pics, i'll have my own soon. good luck!
