Turfing soon

I am going to be turfing my ski with the roll of diamond turf from hydroturf.com (too many turf's..lol) Anyways, i want to turf the sides and front. are there any tips on doing this? what glue or anything?

weldwood contact cement from walmart...not the low voc crud that home depot sells...clean the old stuff off real good...put a coat on the turf let it dry then do another also coat the surface and let dry then just stick it on....try to cut the pieces close to the size you want first but you can use a razor to trim it up and heat guns help mold it....look on my page at my pics to see my handy work...you close to beaumont i can help out

ok, thanks! also heard that if you sand the edges with fine grit sandpaper that looks nice.

I have also read to use the Weldwood GEL contact cement. Said it works better.

I used the one in the red can and it worked fine. Also some heat will help you shape it too

I have used both, and definitely prefer gel. Not sure if its any stronger, but a hell of a lot easier to work with.
