Re: tool to cut hull for footholds?

I use a cut-off wheel on a dremel for the bottom and a jig saw for the sides.

and what kind of foam did you use? i heard from the blowsion website that household foam will not set as it needs air to do so.. their foam was $30 and i couldn't bring myself to pay that for foam!

Absolute best tool I have used is a RotoZip. You can cut a very accurate hole with little to no dust being thrown around. Plus the hole is very CLEAN...you don't have to smooth out any edges or anything.

Re: tool to cut hull for footholds?

i just used a jigsaw to cut the whole thing out, sides and bottom. and i got 4lb foam from us composites. and if you dont want to spend 30 on foam then you best try not to take out any more foam than is needed to get the hold in, because that stuff is expensive.
