My $100 1989 650sx build...

Bought this modded ski for $100 bucks the other day. My buddy got a completely stock one for $100 bucks also last week.

Mods include: Coffman pipe, Coffman Waterbox, SBN44, BCW Intake manifold, Jetlyne extended ride plate, Scoop grate(didnt look to see what manufacturer), WestCoast head, Primer kit, K&N filter and a bad paint job.

Here it is as of right now. I'm taking ALL the paint off and starting over. I'm not sure what color im going to paint it or if I'm going back with the "stealth bomber" look again.
It will be gutted and completely cleaned and returfed for this coming summer. I can't wait.

What do yall think?

Where did you see it listed at? I bought it from my friends neighbor and the ski was sitting out in the dirt in Lizella, Ga. I'm almost positive that it wasn't listed on the interent or anything, but I could be wrong.

Does anyone have any input on what color it should be? No multi colors due to money, but just toss some ideas out there.

Also I've looked into the self leveling paints, but not sure which is best. From my searching it seems like Interlux Brightside seems to work fairly well.

just ideas like a dark red with white turf ...it gets dirty but i think it would look sweet

Nice truck, I'm on cumminsforum and TDR. Its a SOB to get a ski in and out of a 3/4 ton dodge aint it

Thanks! I get on CF every now and then, I live over on CompetitionDiesel.com. Yeah, I'm glad I wont be doing that very often. It will be a 100% trailer queen, until it gets to the water that is.
