Add me to the SXR-1100 fraternity

I just finished my SXR 1100. I fired it up for the first time today. It was a lot of work mainly because everything has been rebuilt or reworked. All new engine parts including porting the cylinders, cases, re-jetted the carbs and the list goes on. The SXR 1100 build was easier than my SXI 900, everything fit better in the SXR hull.

How fast (ballpark) are these conversions going when all dialed in?

hey no juice, I'd be willing to give oh say 1500 bucks for that *******ization.... only if you warranty all the "reworked" parts including your rebuilt sparkplugs !!! low-mid sixties you say, well that will be a step up from that 300sx you've been flopping around on. Maybe you should start off riding that animal by taking off two sparkplugs and ride like that till your skills progress, then add a plugwire till by mid august you'll have all three firing.Well in closing I just wanna say that I 'm looking forward to beating the poop out of that thing this summer, and showing you how to ride manstyle instead of your style (on your knees)....

Re: Add me to the SXR-1100 fraternity

Question on the pipe - does anyone know, or has anyone tested this type of pipe mod? Does it mess with the tuning of the pipe? Just wondering, because it would be a lot easier to plumb the way you have it compared to doing the 180 from the stock outlet.

Looks good.

Be nice Derwood or I won't let you help me any more.

Scottie, I have the exit pipe low enough so a idle there will not be any water build up in the main body of the pipe. Other manufactures place the exit pipe in the center of the main body with great results...FFP being one of them. When the weather warms up I will get it on the water and start getting it dialed in and post the results. The engine was very responsive and crisp when I gave it the throttle, it's got some serious sack.

Any time you want, just bring an ice pick because the lake has about 6" of ice on it.

Re: Add me to the SXR-1100 fraternity

I think the pipe exit should be fine as the the pipe shape is what is important. The wave pattern hasn't changed but I would be curious to know as well. The Factory Limited pipe for the 750's had that outlet mid pipe so maybe this will work. If iy does, this will make for a clean setup. BTW, I'm not sure if you guys saw Harry's comment on rpms for the 1100 but it looks like you want to keep it in the low 7000's. We all know he is a bit conseravtive but still a little fuel for thought. I can't recall the last time anyone on here talked about a 1100 motor!
