750 Sxi to 800 Sxi

I have a 96 750 sxi that I am going to repaint, do some minor body work too, and then drop in a 800 sxr motor with head, exhaust, flywheel.

One question. Where can I find a fiberglass supplier in rochester hill MI?

I know that I am going to move the bilge pump output and also the engine cooling water line and also put in footwells.

If anyone has info on the 750 to 800 conversion please post or point me to the info.

I will post the pics of the ski when I get back intown. Just on the road now.

Re: 750 Sxi to 800 Sxi

well turns out that the 800 i was buying fell through because the guy that had it ended up cracking something so i pasted on it. I just ordered all my stuff last night for the 750 instead.

i have also stripped the boat down and will post the pics tonight!

Re: 750 Sxi to 800 Sxi

why switch to an SXR motor?

imo spend the money on the 849 kit.More noticable power.
