300sx build

This winter I decided to do a jetski build. After finding a 300sx for $20 I started. I've built this jetski on a tight budget and just want something to have some fun with. Now i realize the stock 440 actually has less hp than the 300, but im putting a pipe and high compression head on the 440...so it should have more power than a 300. Like i said i just want something that i can have fun with for my first ski.

Here is a picture of the day i bought it

fitted for the 440

stripped down

the ugly side tray foam pads cut out...

glassed and duraglased

sanded and ready for primer

primer

Eastwood single stage urethane boulevard black paint...

sorry about the picture quality

Still have to hydro turf, find/make chinpad, finish handle pole, waiting on marine exhaust tubing. Thanks for checkin it out

Re: 300sx build

Please get yourself some bars. Maybe some 0 or 4 degree bend. Those stock bars will be hard to ride with!

Re: 300sx build

My prediction is you are about to see a lot of these builds with bigger engines and pumps in them.
