Yamaha Vx

I have been looking for a sitdown so I'm doing a little research and was reading about 4 stroke jetskis. How do the 4 stoke jetskis hold up and perform? How does that work when they get tipped over with oil in a case?

Re: Yamaha Vx

hey eggy,

my vx has been wonderful, havent had any issues with mine, had a dealer try to scam me, but other than that nothing has gone wrong.

I have less than 100 hours on mine but everything has been flawless,

gas mileage is great, ive been out twice and still have half a tank of gas left, first time we went skiing second time i just went riding.

i have only had mine flip over once, was flipped over for about 20 secs or so, if that long, but luckily nothing managed to get wet, no water in the hull, no water in the "glove box" my blackberry and cigs, id, everythign was in there, and it stayed dry.

Performance wise is great, granted its not going to run 65+ mph with the supercharged one, but i get 2-3x as much use on a tank of gas,

Welcome to the site! there is a 4 stoke section in the yamaha section you might want to check out.

Your making a good choice on Yamaha!

Re: Yamaha Vx

I recommend you keep your phone inside of a sealed water resistant case and not just inside the yamaha cover

Re: Yamaha Vx

Works great. It has 2 seals so it protects my iphone, ID, and registration real good.
It was like 15 shipped on ebay. Not bad at all
