WaveVenture & Ultra150 - Are dual Rule 1100 bilge pumps too much?

I have a 3 Seater 1100cc WaveVenture and a 2 seater 1200cc Ultra150 that I would like to add some bilge pumps.

In my other skis, WaveBlaster & Superjet I'm running a single Rule 500 and if either of these two smaller skis are semi full of water, it takes the single 500 a while to empty out the hull.

I'm thinking that with the much larger couches, considering the volume of water the hull can hold, when these are semi full of water, a single or dual 500 bilge pump will take just entirely too long to pump out the water.

I've been pricing around and for roughly the same price as the Rule 500gph pumps, I can get the larger Rule 1100gph pumps.

Would running dual 1100 pumps in each of the WaveVenture & Ultra150 be overkill?

Its probably overkill but I really don't believe there is such thing and it depends greatly on if the type of riding you do causes a lot of water to get into the hull. As long as your pumps aren't drawing so much juice that your charging system can't keep up what does it hurt?

I personally would run Dual 500's...that way if one goes bad you still have a backup.

Although even that in my opinion is a bit overkill..but cant hurt. You wont be pulling near as much water in on a 3 seater as you would on a waveblaster or smaller ski.

do all brand pwc's get a lot of water underneath during normal riding or are you guys jumping and riding hard? I didnt think all pwc's even came with them, or do they?

On my 12F and dads STX1100 after a day of riding and playing in a lake, both hulls are completely dry. We don't have big waves to jump but I don't think the sit down crafts get near the water inside as the standups.
