Survey On Most Hours On Your Yahama Gp1200
Hello Everyone Was Wondering How Many Hours Do You Have On Your Gp1200,was Just Wondering ,being I Have Two 1998 1 Does Have New Motor Due To The Oil Lines Shinking,my Other Has 249 Hrs Well Maintained Runs Great.flushed All The Time Also Done A Compression Test All Three Cylinders Were At 125 Psi Some Say 500hr Some Say 300 Is The Life Was,some Say 1002 Hrs So Let Me Know Please Thank You Mark

I also have been told the GP Engines last atleast 500hrs before you need to rebuild.
Anyway mine hat worn rings allready at 108hrs

I have 130 hours at the moment and still have good compression. i would also like to know the life expectancy from others.

i swapped my 800 PV motor for 1200 before i sold it - the motor had 225 hrs - no probs
