Most reliable 3 seater

I'm playing with the idea of buying a used 3 seater once the rxp is gone, and I was wondering what you think the most reliable used 3 seater 4 stroke is...obviously used condition has a lot to do with how the previous owner took care of it. BUT, if you had to pick a reliable 3 seater 4 stroke what would model would it be?

And what do you think of buying used instead of new? What would you do?

Oh and PLEASE do not recommend a sea doo, I'm done with those. Stick to Kawi or Yamaha.

Thanks

Re: Most reliable 3 seater

I have had really good luck with my FXHO. It get's great mileage on regular gas and never gives me any trouble. Ran mine all last year, when the summer was over I dried it out changed the oil and put it to bed for the winter. When spring came around we took it to the ramp backed it into the water and I told my wife to bump the starter to make sure everything was ok and it started right up, it didn't crank for more than a second. It is a reliable ski that I have never regreted buying.

vx sport or deluxe, great gas mileage, reliable, dependable, can do 54mph, a good general ski, if your into racing, then this is not it, but for tours, long rides, and just having fun, it is. i get 100 miles to 15 gallons gas with some left over and usually 1 foot chops, and part of that distance is against a river current. but lets face it, unless your a racer, who has big pockets for gas, this is teh one in my books....

Re: Most reliable 3 seater

Well I purchased a new 15F this year. Have to say.........I love it! Can't beat the price (7500 out the door excluding tax). Not the fastest, but unless it's glass, it can keep up with just about anything. Uses reg. gas, and gets decent miliage. Down side. It is not the most comfortable ski. I'm 6' and at times I feel a bit cramped. However, I'll gladly trade slight discomfort for price; and I do mean slight.
