| Re: Miami to Bimini group ride being formed. PWC's only Umm...Not so much, nobody can call the weather down here. I'm a life long sailor and read the clouds well but rely on NOAA with their satellites to help. Summer in S FL see's tons of rain as the clouds drop their water vapor over the land, the ocean is different. Far different, heck, 10 miles is different, we are in the tropics and generally, foul weather develops in the afternoon. We'd be slinging lobsters on the grill by then brother. Running 40 mph we'd be there in under 90 minutes (with good flat water) - Crap water and it's a no good, play by ear is unfortunately the way this will be called. Would I drive from LA? Hell no, too unpredictable. The Gulf stream flows 10-12 mph due north and you fight that monster almost the entire run. Even at the angle, 90 degree's to heading, it still saps forward movement and heck, none of us are going to beat the waves, we need calm rollers at worst. No worries...lemme know. Greg
