Blythe, CA - River Always So Low???

Decided to take a run on the river from Blythe to the dam Saturday - was suprised at just how shallow the water was in some places - really not too much fun! Is it always this low or did I just pick a bad day?

Re: Blythe, CA - River Always So Low???

This time of year, they start cutting the water back as the farmers don't need as much. But like the other guy said, it seems to steadily go down every year as the desert communities grow and the rain dwindles!
