Anyone here ride on Whitefish Bay?

Just curious to see if anyone else rides on the eastern end of Lake Superior. I know the water's cold, but am I the only one?

Western end right here. (Duluth MN)

Hell I thought I was the only Superior rider on pwct.

Where you been? You must get big waves over there all the time as 2/3 of the wind we get is strong from the west?

We had 10+ footers on April 11th.

Re: Anyone here ride on Whitefish Bay?

No, you're not the only Superior rider.

In the 2 years that I've been riding here, I think I only seen about a dozen people on PWCs. Most, if not all of those, are people who just ride in front or their camps. Apparently none of them are members of PWCToday.

I ride solo, so I try not to go out if the waves are over 6 feet. That strong west wind whips up the water pretty good some times. The waves bounce off the cliffs and it feels like you're riding in a giant washing machine. Waves coming at you from in front, from the left & from the right!

Hope to do some longer tours next summer if my brother gets a watercraft. Maybe we'll head down your way. It looks like riding season is just about over for this year---the weather is definately NOT cooperating!
