Heading out sunday, weather permitting of course to ride the great Illinois river and show some members what its all about SON!* Getting there about 9am in the morning and staying until 5. Also got a friend with an STXR coming up there too. Anyone is invited to come and hang out should be a good time as i was there last sunday and the water was bathtub warm with plenty of big boats coming by for some wake action.

I'm interested in this...is there any place for a gf and a puppy to hang out? Good places to watch or relax on shore? Is there a launch fee?

Any chance the water is over 70 degrees? I actually want it to be coller than that cause i'm only running single cooling for now.

What ski will you be on?

You can hang out along the shore where the launch is, but not the best place.
If you've got a 2 or 3 seater, get up river about a mile east, and there's a nice inlet with a little beach area for g/f and dog to hang out, as long as the dog doesn't mind jetskiing either.
No launch fees, since it's an Illinois state park, and the water is warm. IMO, it's above 70, not great for ski cooling, but awesome for skiing, and you won't mind falling off. I was out there with fastlife last weekend, I just can't make it this week due to family stuff. You'll have a great time.

02sxi pro for sure bring your gf and puppy I will be out there with my gf as well and some friends grilling and having a good time. You can relax on shore as there are some spread out little beaches where we will be hanging out at and relaxing/docking. Dont worry about getting to them i am bringing my gp1200r and my buddy will have his stxr. Other skis i will have there are my 650sx and the blaster, not to mention about 4-6 other riders are suppose to come with standups and one x2.
As far the cooling goes i would not worry about it you will be fine running it without problems. I think i already text you my number
