You're being way too kind.

I think the proper word is "stupid".

Re: what is everyone doing in the off season

Let's see:

1) Assembling a SN for a buddy (promised him I'd do that first). It's gonna be nice, set up with a 701 wet jet motor (with the good intake mani and 46) and a big bunch of other goodies. It'll be the best single-carb SJ at bender next year ('cept when my wet jet powered SJ is there, bwaaaaaahaha!!)
2) Finish assembly of my fx1. Still have some work to do to finish the 144mm pump install. Need to replace the handlepole pivot. Motor wise, I'm either removing the stock dual 38s currently on it and installing some pro-tec taper bored 38s, or just dropping in the 760 motor I recently picked up. (See #3)
3) Rebuilding and porting a 760 motor I recently picked up, so I can install it in something. Will also add a girdled head and reed space plate. Plan to make that another motor that runs on avgas, as I'm really happy with my others, and the fact that avgas remains very affordable with good bang for the buck, IMHO.
4) Truing the hull on my vintage race ski.
5) Helping Rod with something, as I'm quite sure he'll come up with something he'll want to do to improve his ski yet again .
6) Probably not selling my blaster, as the last ride I took on it has me waivering again.
7) Probably rebuilding the top end on my wet jet powered SJ.
8) Oh yeah, I also need to build that 90 SJ I just picked up. You know, it's the one I paid $NOYDB for .
