im looking for a spot close to down town chicago to ride the skis for the day. My woman desided that she was going to do a marathon there so i am going to support her by jet skiing there. when she gets done she can join me on the beach.

Good idea to not walk around chasing her so you can see her for one second. I had to do that last year and I'm going to have to do it again this year and I'm not excited about it.

Whats the best way to get into Diversey Harbor coming from the west burbs? Do you have to pay to park down there?

Re: lake michigan ride spots?

diversey harbor (aka divorcey harbor) is off fullerton and lakeshore drive. the launch pass is also the parking lot pass, but you're s.o.l. when the lot fills up.

traffic is usually a nightmare, especially if there is an event or baseball game.

i am a fan of burnham harbor. easier to get to, but the launch gets messy by 10 a.m. FYI, the cpd usually does their safety checks there.

jackson harbor doesn't allow jetskis unfortunately.

Re: lake michigan ride spots?

Hey,

If you are looking to get to Diversey Harbor from West Suburbs, take either I-290 to Wacker, and exit Wacker N, on Lake Shore Dr. or take I-55 N to Lake Shore Dr N Then Exit at Fullerton Pkwy and Take a Left on Fullerton, then next right on Cannon Dr.

See http://www.chicagoharbors.info/harbo...s2=IL&z2=60614

Hope this helps, I am going to fork the $22 over tomorrow, because I have ridden Lake Michigan all over midwest, with exception of Chicago. Just look for '96 Kawi ZXI 900 CC.

Thanks,

Dennis
