Hey guys, anyone here familiar with Hammond, IN? I was out that way yesterday at the Horseshoe Casino and the Hammond Marina looked pretty good. Last season I kept my ski up at Lake Geneva, WI but live near in Joliet,IL. I have been out to Morris on a number of occasions but am still looking for other places to ride. I have not been out on Lake Michigan and def want to give it a try next season.

Thoughts?

i dont know anyone really that rides in hammond by the casino we usually go up to pine lake in laporte indiana, geist reservoir, morse reservoir, lake monroe, and especially miller/lake street beach aka lake street beach which harley gave you a link to. Lake street is hands down one of the best places to ride imo.

Thanks so much! Always looking for new places. The 2 1/2 hour ride to Lake Geneva is a killer. We rented a place up there over the last couple of years so it wasn't bad but just to drive up to ride is a pain. Not sure if we are going to find another place to rent so I am checking out all my options.

Peggy i agree with you lake geneva and the traffic up there is pretty horrendous at times. Good luck with your search.
