Were the 2005 World Finals a good edition?

Thanks to inthsaddle for suggesting it...

Overall I'll rate it a so-so. I've been attending the WF's since 2002. The racing was awesome. Freestyle rocked! Lots of memorable moments for me personally. But I've got some things that I didn't like that I'll adress privately with our rider rep Amy Green.

The finals were great!

What really sucked is the way they put the ticket booth clear out in a bumfock egypt parking lot. Totally different setup than before(ticket booth at the entrance to get in to WF).
If you parked somewhere else and walked in you get down to the entrance which is like 3/8 mile just for them to say you have to go back out and clear down the road to the bumfock parking lot they set up along with the ticket booth. If was perfect before! Just like a theme park. You pay at the gate! Not 1/2 mile away!
The shuttle service was nice(if you knew about it), but there needed to be more signs for the spectators to follow. That was REAL piss poor. JetskiRon and I happen to meet at the booth and we both did the same thing and we were both a little pissed because it made us miss the first 4 Amatuer freestylers.
I didnt park in the $5 lot and didnt even know it existed. I parked along the road on that dirt area before you turn into Krazy Horse.

When I went on Sunday I parked in the same place and brought my mini harley and rode it over and bought tickets and rode it down to the entrance.

I had the same dilema, LOL. There were signs but with the wrong verbage, imo. It said something like rider check in? It should have said that and ADMISSION to clear things up. The Crazy Horse at the entrance were supposed to tell people walking in that the admission is up in the parking lot but they didn't tell me. I guess it's hard to watch if everybody has a wristband or not. Ultimately, the signage should have been worded better and there would have been no confusion or much less.

As far as the poll, it was memorable and probably one of the best WFs I have been to. I also liked the year of the winds, earthquake and all we were missing was a fire WFs

I concur! Walked in the same way as last year only to find admission wasn't there.Walked through the campground and just walked down the hill and in??No checky for wristband.Definitely good racing.I would still prefer it to be Pro races on Sunday. The SeaPoo 3D challenge was a waste of time!I'm sure it payed a bill or two though.History was made by having a 4 stroke SU racing.Slalom in the AM was good but should have been left to the Pro's on Sunday.I'll keep going until they move it elsewhere.
