Nicolas Rius from Rius Racing was nearly lapping the pack on the 10 mile loop track, the rumor was water in the fuel tank, his ski is out but he may get back into the race. Was about to set new track record if he could hold that pace! Incredible!
Chris and Flyin' Brian from Macc Racing is out, ski broke!
Craig Warner is rumored to be in the lead currently!
Top 3 if PWCOffshore Team riders Mark Gerner and Robert Carreon, last years overall winners! They are the reigning champions, will they get a back to back win?

Water is flat, calm and glassy, but now the weather is changing. Slight drizzle has begun, and weather may be moving in, watch for the track to start slowing up.
Let's see who's ski can go the distance! 300 miles is a grueling pace.
