Thank you Watercraft World! HTVix's BD party was a BLAST!

Just a quick note to thank Rod Hipwell and the fine folks over at Watercraft World for tossing Laural's birthday party this year during Finals.

Each year a close group of Vix's friends attempts to surprise her during her "Birthday Week," and each year we end up having to tell her exactly where to be and when to be there lest she be dragged off somewhere else and would miss her birthday gig. Well, this year, Rod and Watercraft World stepped up BIGTIME and tossed one heck of a party complete with icy libations and a LOT of yummy pizza.

I tried to warn Rod that taking the spark plugs out of the old skool 550 parked on the stand next to the pool might be a really good idea - considering the guest list, but he seemed to think there was nothing to be concerned about. If you're good boys and girls, perhaps our friends over at RiotRadio.com will post their picture of outcome on that poor decision

Then Laurel decided to relax and have a seat...and all hellll broke loose.

Finally, that poor kid that used to race for Stubrick's (his name escapes me right now) sat in the same magic seat and passed out cold. I am not sure I chose the right shade of lip liner, but he didn't seem to mind; perhaps he was too busy chewing on his new "cigar"?

Again, perhaps the folks from Riot will help us out with some visual aids/video so you all won't wonder what the heck I'm yammering about.

Regardless, I just want to thank the hundreds who trekked to the far side of town to celebrate Laural's 21'st birthday for the 6th time with us all. I know it meant a lot to her, and she had a great time as well.

Again, Rod, you da man! You singlehandedly saved our little crew if watercraft nutz a bundle-o-cash, and assisting you in the "logistics" of this gig was a pleasure...plus she actually GOT her cake for the first time in 5 years!

Thanks again,

Lisa

My favorite part of the planning process is Mich's wonderment and awe when I rattled off exactly how many 12 ounce cups of beer are in a 15 gallon keg - where to get them in havasu - the ordering deadline....yadda yadda yadda....

You WILL RESPECT my PARTY PLANNING AUTHORITIE!!!!!!!!!

I heard all about it. My g/f was there. It sounded like a good time! She will have to take her camera along next time. Of course all pics will be subject to the "subjects" approval before they are posted.

You people are out of control! And that's a good thing

Actually that was way cool!! I apologize for dadding out and killing the ski in the pool action. Thanks for not attacking me! Kudos to the Euro dude, he rode the thing pretty well in there. R

If you think he was entertaining in the pool with the ski, you should have seen him the next night at Kokomos doing Kareoke....I almost wet myself.

I think he left a DNA sample on one of the light posts too

What was his name again?
