Tales from the Tour - Liberty Edition
In honor of the Fourth of July holiday and our Independence Day, we'll name this Tales from the Tour the Liberty Edition!
So we're on the road Homies... cruising through the East end of Arizona making dandy good time. Chris Hagest is behind the wheel right now getting ready to welcome us into New Mexico. Aaron, LiLi and I left La Mesa this morning at 0600 and met Chris in Yuma, AZ at just before 0900. A quick load up of Chris' goods and we were back on the road... of course we had to make a ceremonial Del Taco pick-up to get the trip started right!
I was bad about taking pictures today, but LiLi grabbed a few with her camera... now we need a card reader to get them on the computer... no worries... more to follow.

Homies! We're in Las Cruces, New Mexico right now... getting off for some fuel. We stopped in Demming, NM for some grub (see the picture) and I don't recommend it! I think I'll be skipping it on the way back!

So I don't know if you could tell in the first picture but we're traveling light this trip... three skis in the back and just a few gallons of water... the old girl is killing the gas mileage! So far we're averaging about 12! That's almost free!

We'll be there in spirit DZ, but this bus isn't going that far... we're jamming out of Dallas on Sunday after the awards ceremony and we'll be heading back home. I gotta get home to my babykid!
