Lol - Lee, those parts are legal to run in any class but stock. Just hull extensions. Going a step further this year. Hopefully I can show you next year. Make plans for a road trip next year - Reigon 8 is Sport heven.

i thought you did the front end mod as well, i am happy. it would be funny to see the biggest class at the nationals and worlds being sport mod.

i am planning only a few select races next year, enough locally to qualify and the nationals and finals.

This goes a LONG WAY to improving my views of the IJSBA. From what I have heard, Havasu was a success and this is just another example of leadership actually listening to the racers.

For the first time in a LONG time, I am planning on going to the Nationals and the Finals. Anyone who races Sport, PLEASE try to make a region 8 race next year, we average 10-12 riders each race, and would love to have a few more.

Question from someone who is clueless about mod...what is the advantage of building a mod ski? Could this make the Blaster competitive with the HX? Love my Blaster, but never built it for racing because I knew it couldn't be competitive with the HX...trying to get an idea whether it would be worth it to build it now.

Many guys have light carbon fiber Blaster hulls that until this decision were not useable. The light hulls and "mod" mods, will make for some interesting racing and bring many people back to the class.
