My Mark Hahn

What a day, cold, windy, and perfect for racing. My yamaha Fzr ran great and I was able to complete 260 miles and finish 15th overall by myself. What made this so fun is that Steven Leprohon and I were within seconds of each other for the whole race. He did end up winning the ironman but we had fun with each other trading that spot back and forth for almost 5 hours. The lake was ever changing as the wind did a 180 about halfway there was smooth spots and some very ruff spots as well. I would really like to thank Nicholas Rius for letting me race the ski, Josh Paddock for all his help in the setup and everyone who jumped in to help pit. The best thing about this race is the people who would do anything to help you.

Re: My Mark Hahn

15=Position
59=Race number
Joel Thayer=Who??
26=Number of laps completed(that's 260 miles folks)
4:43:10.031(total race time)
26:58.266(Time difference behing first place)
9:24.450(best lap=56.4mph-if my math is correct)
20(in lap?? Don't know what this is)
63.779(best speed-dunno how they figured this out)

This was from the printout of information gained from the transponder on Joel's boat.

Re: My Mark Hahn

Great Job Joel! Everyone at this race is so helpful and happy to be racing! We have enjoyed the endurance races and off shore races we've attended in the last three years. Ross, Mike and Jim and their staff does a great job. Also the transponders worked great! This is what they have needed for along time. I didn't hear of anyone arguing or complaining. Thanks to all who helped Craig and Victor and the Warner Family at the Mark Hahn Race. Gary had to work on Sunday, so this was a one day trip for us, so didn't get to enjoy the Awards Banquet this year. The Trophys were unbeleivable as usual, thanks to Mike Folmer. Congrats to everyone who raced !
Mom Warner.
The only thing I wish is they need to havea Father/Son or Daughter or Mother /Son or Daughter race sometime soon, before I get too old! Maybe only a 3 mile race HA HA!
