Stx-r case

I am doing a rebuild on my stx-r engine and have run into a slight problem. The used case that I am using for the rebuild is different from the damaged case of the seized engine. The groove that holds the middle shaft seal is shallower than the original case, which prevents the new seal from fitting properly. I am thinking that there was a change in the cases along the way. I am not sure what year the new case I am using is. Are you guys aware of this and if so can you sell me a set of crank seals that will fit the newer case? I am in need of the middle seal that has no "lip", just a raised section in the center of the seal, which fits into the machined groove inside the case. If this is something that you sell, please let me know so I can make a purchase.

Thanks

Re: Stx-r case

It's the same as the Ultra engine, the seals we sell would fit.

Re: Stx-r case

Could you pm with the info. I need to order the seal kit. I am guessing that I have an Ultra case instead of a Stx-r case?
