SBT Break-in oil

When using SBT Break-in oil as a premix, do you mix in both the SBT oil AND your regular premix?

I was told by three different people that you mix in both oils. But when I read the "Premix" section on the back of the bottle, to me it sounds as though ONLY SBT Break-in oil is to be used for the first tank of gas. Never does it mention mixing your own oil in there with it.

If I mix SBT as directed (30:1) plus my regular oil at 40:1, it works out to 17:1. Seems a tad thick to me.

I hope you're supposed to use SBT Break-in oil only, because that's what I'm running. I've got about an hour of running on my newly rebuilt Group K Superjet motor, and I'm using SBT Break-in oil only, at 30:1.

Re: SBT Break-in oil

No you do not need more oil if your ratio is 30 to 1.

I could be wrong but I think their intent is to use an oil ratio of 30-1 for break-in. If that means mixing their oil into your premixed gas, add just enough of their oil to reach 30-1 ratio.

I cannot think of any good reasons to have oil mixed more than 30-1 in a pwc.
