| New SBT 951 after break-in question/issue Seems my compression has increased after a slight seize. I now have 9 hrs on this new SBT 951 break-in per SBT. Running injected oil + premix on 2 first tanks of gas. Initially read 135psi both MAG/PTO (0 hrs). Then PTO climbed to 145psi after about 6 hrs. New MAG seems to read about 140psi after 9hrs. Strange thing is, at my last outing, it started to act like it was seizing up af a very brief full throttle. I cut out on my idling to the dock. Started OK but had to hold 1/4 throttle to keep it going. Before this run compression was MAG=130psi/PTO=143psi. What is going on? My last motor blew the PTO side piston ring and dropped compression to 100psi. I also have a strange PTO plug, partial lean/partial OK? MAG side seems OK but reasds lower? See pics. Piston pics are labled as PTO or MAG. PICs were taken thru rave slots. Both RAVEvalves were oily. no carbon.
