Acceptable core cylinders

I can find(or, at least, have found) examples of what is acceptable and what is not on cracks in case halves but are there similar pictures of what will and/or will not pass for cylinders?

I have a set on which corrosion has opened the groove where the water-seal ring goes in the top. I would take some pics but my camera is MIA. I am not convinced that it is gone yet so I haven't replaced it.

Re: Acceptable core cylinders

Without seeing it I can't give you a quote. If you let me know what type of cases they are I can give you max charge on them.

Re: Acceptable core cylinders

Its a Seadoo 787. The cases are fine, the only problem is the top of the cylinder. The groove that hold the water seal has opened up. I will see if I can get a picture or two this weekend. They are from a '99 SPX, if that matters.

Re: Acceptable core cylinders

We don't weld cylinders. If it has opened it up the max charge is 425.00/cylinder. We do have a list of salvage yards on our website http://www.sbtontheweb.com/forum/showthread.php?p=85856, you could buy the cylinder used and then use that as a core.
