Why are X2's so hard to find?? (Houston area)

How does everyone find X2's around Houston??? I have been looking on and off for over 2 years now with absolutely no luck.. Missed two on craigslist in the past two years, both sold before I could even contact the seller....

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone's got one for sale or know of one for sale anywhere local, heck or even within a couple hours drive?

Re: Why are X2's so hard to find?? (Houston area)

A friend of mine is building up one of my old X2's with rear exhaust.... if he runs out of steam it might be up for sale soon...... will let you know what's up.

Craigs list is your best bet. I've seen stock x2's for $500.......

Just be patient.

We might sell my wifes 780 x2 with mag pump..... but that won't be for a while since summer just started and she's stoked to ride again.

Sure wish I was closer to Dallas... I would love to have this ski, and at a nice price (probably needs carb clean and some maint).. Wifes pregnant and about to pop at any minute, so an 8 hour+ round trip drive is out of the question... Anyone from Dallas coming to Houston any time soon, LOL...?

I had been watching that one as well... I finally did pick up a 93, good hull with title, but engine was a rusted anchor.. did have good jetsport full cone exhaust, westcoast mikuni intake with dual stage reeds,Westcoast velocity stack, good electronics and flywheel.. Cylinders are in good shape and the stock head has hand some work done to it including O-rings groove milled and it was run with oring and silicone (no head gasket).. Also has Stainless impellor, scoop intake grate and rend ride plate...

For what I paid I got a good deal, not great, but atlteast it has a clean and clear title..

Might have a deal in the works for a drop in engine, as well as a deal for parts to rebuild this engine...

So FINALLY I have an X2, well sorta.. lol..

Re: Why are X2's so hard to find?? (Houston area)

i just wanted to chime in and say i'm in the x2 market, i was en reute to purchasing the one from splendora. the owner called me after i drove 2 hours and was 20 minutes from his house to inform me he was not comfortable with writing a bill of sale.

if you've got a x2 on the market, call me! cash in hand looking to buy one, 936.348.1923.

or if you've got a cheap project. i'm gonna get into fixing up these old kawasaki skis. thanks!
