who's familiar with Lake Travis???

I'm new to Austin so I'm in the exploring mode. I want to jump off of Pale Face Cliff in Pace Bend Park at Lake Travis as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQCFe...eature=related

but I don't know where it is. After looking at google satelite, I think it's in the Baldwin Cove off of Grisham Trail and across the lake from the end of American Drive. Is that right??

Also, is it safe to jump right now? I've heard that the lake is a bit low right now....they say it's about a 40-50 feet jump.

Dude, be careful with the lake being so low right now, foo's get hurt every weekend jumping. The are a lot of places to jump on that lake, not sure if that is the one I jumped off of, looks like it tho.. was mega high and stung like a ***** on my feet and hands when I hit the water, was badass.

Not a lot of jumping right now.. Two issues are the drop and the climb back up. Most of the ramps are not operating on Travis due to water level.

Every year someone gets killed jumping off crap.. (I've done it myself) - just FYI.

Ya I'm from Lake Travis, the cliffs are no good right now I think because of the low lake level. Also Pace Bend is right off of HWY 71 out towards the hill country just bank a right at the big gas station right before the bridge over the Pedernales River.
