were are the old hidden houses out under lake travis

they said there was a town out there before the built the dam and just flooded it all without dismantling the house's , anyone know were they are ? i heard the since the lake is so low the tops of a few houses are starting to appere ????

Hmmm..Looked for info and cant find it..Man if its been that long them houses would have rotted under the water by now!

TX parks and wildlife website or LCRA website made recent mention of this, but didn't speak of coordinates... Not everything would have been built of wood, you know... I'm sure there are brick and limestone structures in the mix of buildings/houses that were flooded over when the lake was impounded...

yea i saw it on news 8 and KXAN , i thought it was out by volente beach cause that used to be the road into the town before they flooded it ( so ive heard ) . gotta remember these house's were built back in the late 1800's mostly out of the rock around here .

schneider's cove...

we went there two weekends ago at about 2am by boat. pretty cool. the house that's out of the water is the smaller outbuilding, the main house is still under..... for now...

they did the same thing when the made Texoma. just a flooded a bunch of towns.
